As a photographer, I spend most of my time with the loveliest of people and getting to be a part of their lives for a brief, but wonderfully special time. But sometimes I get to do things a little bit out of the ordinary. Photographing a farm in Kentucky? Yes, please. Am I an animal photographer? Not really. Will I do this full time? Not likely. Did I love every minute? Absolutely. Because what drives me as a photographer is capturing what is really important to someone. These animals are a huge part of this incredible family’s life. They are a part of the family and deserve to be photographed and remembered forever.
I have to warn you however, that if you are contemplating moving to the country and starting a farm, the following photos might just push you over the edge.
